Celeste Dumonceaux Delahey is a Saskatchewan landscape and abstract painter based in Saskatoon. She spent her early years participating in many creative activities and starting painting 14 years ago.
From the beginning she was drawn to painting the landscape and was particularly attracted to the beautiful prairie scenes, especially clouds and skies. She grew up on a farm where she was surrounded by the vast green and gold spaces and open fields. Bright blue skies and interesting cloud formations; unbelievable jewel-toned sunsets; dark brooding grey storms; sparkling lakes and lush green forests; these call to her and stir a deep desire within to recreate the natural beauty around her. She enjoys painting in bold acrylics to reveal the charm of the prairies with her color choices and realistic depictions of the landscape.
