Artist Statement:
Cathy's inspiration and content grow out of the two locales in which she lives; these are the boreal forest in Saskatchewan, Canada and the Sonoran Desert in Arizona. Landscapes and their particular motifs oftentimes represent the tenacious nature of various human conditions. The human condition of continuous inspiration and joy to Cathy is her volunteer work with the homeless in Prince Albert.
