Bio
Celeste Dumonceaux Delahey is a Saskatchewan landscape painter living in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. She spent her early years participating in many creative activities and started painting 15 years ago when she enrolled in a Certificate in Art and Design program.
She grew up on a farm where she was surrounded by the vast green and gold spaces and open fields. Bright blue skies and interesting cloud formations; unbelievable jewel-toned sunsets; dark brooding grey storms; sparkling lakes and lush green forests; these call to her and stir a deep desire within to recreate the natural beauty around her. She is passionate about painting the prairies and enjoys using bold colours to depict the landscape.
Delahey has been a Mastrius student for four years; an online learning platform, and participates in several art exhibits a year. She is a member of the painting group, Artists’ Workshop, where she meets with other artists to paint weekly, culminating in an annual show and Sale in April of each year. She is represented by Dandelion Art Framing and her pieces can be found in several private collections throughout Canada.
